Who we are
Our goal is to help over 1 million people by 2030 to build sustainable livelihoods, either as employees or entrepreneurs.
We believe that access to quality education and training by everyone irrespective of race, gender, geography or economic status has the potential to eradicate our nations’ triple threat challenges, namely high unemployment, poverty and inequality. We believe that with relevant education and training everyone has the power to change their lives for better, and ultimately build a better world to live in.
The I Schools is committed to contribute and help to transform and increase the potential skills pool in many sectors, specifically in the Technology, Agriculture and Artisan/Trades space through, skills development, mentoring, and job creation for the youth, the previously disadvantaged, disabled and females with special focus on township and rural youth. We fight Poverty, Unemployment, and Inequality through Education and Training, Community Development Programmes and CSI programmes implementation.

Our Mission
The I Schools’ mission is to Reach, Educate, and Empower marginalized individuals, organizations, and communities in rural and township areas in South Africa and Africa. We do this by partnering with industries, governments, corporate sector and donors to:
- alleviate poverty and despair
- create learning opportunities,
- create improved employment opportunities and
- create entrepreneurship development opportunities.
